DHAKA: Newly appointed Health Minister Mohammad Nasim on Monday said the present stance of BNP is positive as they avoided hartal and blockade from Monday and it would create congenial atmosphere for talks.
The senior leader of ruling Awami League was speaking to journalists at first day of his office of new government in the noon.
The minister thanked to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia as she kept herself away from anarchy by avoiding hartal and blockade.
Mohammad Nasim added: “Now, the situation is very smooth for political consensus. But, at first, the party has to cut their tie with Jamaat.”
Nasim hoped that he would perform his duty properly by taking all challenge.
