SAVAR, DHAKA: Opposition leader Raushan Ershad on Sunday paid tribute to the martyrs of the countries war of independence by placing wreaths at the National Martyrs’ Memorial.

With the members of parliament of Jatiya Party, she placed floral wreaths at 1:10pm and left the memorial at around 01:30pm.

Meanwhile, Raushan Ershad talked to journalists and said, “I have come here with my party members to pay homage to the martyrs.”

In response to a question about Jatiya Party chairman, the opposition leader said, “We don’t have any conflict with him. They will come when they wish.”

Earlier of the day, Raushan Ershad entered the national memorial premises with 27 members of parliament.
