DHAKA: Jamaat called countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal for Monday protesting the death penalty of Jamaat Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami in 10-trucks arms haul case.  

Jamaat acting secretary Dr Shafiqur Rahman announced the hartal on Friday.  

Allude to a Chittagong Court Thursday awarded death penalty to 14-people including former Industries Ministers Motiur Rahman Nizami and former State Minister for Home Lutfarzaman Babar.
