BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today (Feb 10) said the government is preparing for the upcoming national elections in December.

He confirmed the development after a meeting with the Chief Adviser on Monday (February 10). 

Following the meeting, he spoke to the media, saying that preparations are underway for the parliamentary elections later this year.
