Detective Branch (DB) of police has arrested former State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Dipankar Talukdar.

He was detained from Sobhanbagh in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

Speaking to Banglanews on Monday (February 10), Additional Commissioner and DB Chief Rezaul Karim Mallik confirmed the matter, saying that multiple cases have been filed against him.

Dipankar Talukdar, a former Member of Parliament from Rangamati, served as a state minister in the ousted Awami League government.
