BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has extended his heartfelt wishes for the holy month of Ramadan, hoping it will bring peace, happiness, and blessings to the lives of all Muslims.

In a message on the eve of Ramadan, he said that it is the duty of every devout Muslim to maintain peace in society by avoiding injustice, violence, and hatred. He highlighted Ramadan as a month of self-restraint, during which the Muslim Ummah dedicates itself to spiritual training to earn the closeness and mercy of Almighty Allah.

Tarique Rahman stated that Muslims in Bangladesh and around the world strive to purify their souls through fasting, seeking Allah’s guidance and forgiveness. He described Ramadan as a time when the rewards for good deeds are multiplied, referring to it as the month of mercy, blessings, and forgiveness.

Quoting the Hadith, he said everyone that the gates of Hell are closed during Ramadan and emphasized the significance of the Quran's revelation in this sacred month, serving as a guide for mankind.

He concluded by expressing his hope that this Ramadan would inspire unity, compassion, and spiritual growth for all.
