DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is scheduled to hold a long march toward Teesta River on April 22 to 23 to press demand of fair water sharing between Bangladesh and India.

Sources in the party said that the long march will be started from Dhaka after a rally on April 22 and the long march will stay in Rangpur district at night after staging rallies at different places on the way.

Later on April 23, the rally will end its journey through another rally at Dalia near Teesta Barrage.

Earlier, Ganotantrik Bam Morcha and others political parties held road march and others programmes on Teesta issue.
