DHAKA: Badiul Alam Majumdar, Secretary of Shujan (Citizens for Good Governance), a civil society organization, on Sunday alleged that Rab is doing the job of police forces.   

“At present, whatever Rab is doing, these work actually the job of police. Rab doing such job as police failed to do that properly,” he said.    

Badiul also gave suggestion to train up police very well and Rab has to do its own work.   

The civil society member was addressing a discussion at Dhaka Reporters Unity titled ‘Disappearance, abduction and killing free Bangladesh’ organized by Oikyabaddha Chhatra Samaj.   

He also alleged that law enforcers are being used to serve political purpose in recent days.   

Addressing the function, Dr Kamal Hossain, eminent lawyer of the country, termed that those who are involved in kidnapping and killing they are sick and suggested to treat them.       

Pointing the government the Ganoforum president said, “You are mentally sick. We want to stop it by taking action immediately.”
