Raushan Ershad greets Modi

DHAKA: Opposition Leader of the parliament Raushan Ershad Friday congratulated Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Narendra Modi for his party’s sweeping victory in the 16th Lok Shabha elections of India.

Senior presidium member of Jatiya Party also said we hope his victory will strengthen Bangladesh-India relationship.

BJP-led alliance NDA has secured more than 300 constituencies in the 16th Lok Shabha elections of India. Some 272 Lok Shabha seats are necessary to form government.
