DHAKA: Jatiya Party (fraction) chairman Kazi Zafar Ahmed, also former Prime Minister, has been taken to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of United Hospital in capital’s Gulshan area on Monday noon.

Doctors referred him to shift him to ICU from cabin around 12:00 noon as his physical condition deteriorating.

On May 11, Kazi Zafar admitted to the hospital as he became injured after fell down at bathroom during his Khulna tour.
