NETROKONA: State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Saturday categorically said there would be no more drama like creating Joj Mia in protecting any criminal.
“All criminals will be brought to book after investigation and zero tolerance will be shown to none,” he said.
He was addressing a civil society meeting as the chief guest after inaugurating the new building of Atpara Thana of the district on the noon of the day.
Asaduzzaman Khan said, “Marin police will be formed to keep balance with elsewhere of the world and steps are being taken to set the arrangement of a police per 800 citizens.”
Kamal urged all to cooperate in abolishing drugs from the country.
With Police Super of the district Zakir Hossain Khan in the chair, the function was also addressed, among others, by Netrokona-3 (Kendua-Atpara) constituency lawmaker Iftikar Uddin Talukder Pintu, district deputy commissioner Dr Abul Kalam Azad and district Awami League acting president Motiar Rahman.
