DHAKA: State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam on Thursday labeled the remarks of BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman “incoherently”.
The state minister came up with the remarks while addressing a press brief on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to China at the Foreign Ministry in the city.
In response to a query, the junior minister said, “These days, he (Tarique) is coming up with such claims, which his father Major Zia never claimed.”
“His (Tarique’s) speeches are nothing but silly talks,” he added.
On Tuesday evening, Tarique at a program in Malaysia said, “Premier Hasina knew about the killing of Ziaur Rahman. Mystery behind the killing will be disclosed after taking her to remand.”
