DHAKA: The government turned the country into a butcher shop through killing, forced disappearance and oppression on BNP men, alleges BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed.
He said those in a press conference at BNP’s Nayaplatan office around 11:00am Friday.
Criticizing the government, Rizvi said, “The government turned Bangladesh into a butcher shop through countrywide killing, forced disappearance and oppression on BNP leaders and activists.”
Many of them were forced to go into hiding facing cases in different places of the country,” he alleged.
Dhaka city BNP member secretary Abdus Salam, BNP assistant office secretary Abdul Latif Jony and others were present in the instant press meet.
