DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has invited Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to an iftar party for politicians at the Bashundhara convention center on July 2.

Khaleda's Assistant-office Secretary Asadul Karim Shahin took the invitation card to Awami League president’s political office in city’s Dhanmondi area on Tuesday.

He said BNP also invited AL general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam, its presidium members to the iftar.

In the first end of Ramadan, BNP chairperson used to arrange iftar party for politicians every year.
