NARAIL: Miscreants torched a Dhaka bound passenger bus in Rupganj Bazar Bus-stand area of the district town on Saturday night.

Witnesses said that some miscreants hurled petrol bombs at the bus and set fire to it in the area around 9:30pm and fled the scene.

Five passengers of the bus received serious burn injuries in the incident.

The injured were rushed to local clinics.

On information, the fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the flame.
