DHAKA: Miscreants torched a bus in Shewrapara bus stand area of the city on Sunday afternoon.

Fire service control room operator Ziaur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said some miscreants set fire to a passenger bus of ‘Zabal-e-Nur’ transport service, in the area around 4:10pm and fled the scene immediately.

However, none was injured in the incident.

On information, two fire fighting units rushed to the spot and doused the flame.

However from January 5, BNP called countrywide indefinite blockade protesting the confinement of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and arrests of party leaders and activists.
