SUNAMGANJ: BNP-led 20-party alliance called dawn-to-dusk hatal in the district for Tuesday protesting the confinement of BNP chief Khaleda Zia to her Gulshan office and detention of senior BNP leaders.

Convener of district alliance and BNP Nasir Uddin Chowdhury made the announcement in a press conference in district BNP office at Bilpar of the town around 11:30am Monday.

District BNP convener committee member Kalim Uddin Ahmed and Sunamganj Sadar upazila parishad chairman Dewan Joynul Zakerin, among other, were present in the conference.
