DHAKA: The activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir, student wing of Jamaat-e-Islam, blasted cocktails and brought out procession at city’s Lalbagh area on Tuesday morning supporting the ongoing blockade of BNP-led 20-party alliance.

Sources said that Dhaka Mahanagar eastern unit Shibir men brought out the procession led by its Publicity Secretary Abdul Kader in the area around 9:15am.

Witnesses said that the Shibir men set fire on the road and blasted two cocktails after the procession.

Lalbagh Thana Duty Officer Robin Rahman said that they are not informed yet about the violence.
