DHAKA: BNP-led 20-party alliance Tuesday extended its ongoing countrywide hartal for 48-hour more.

As per new decision, the hartal will now continue till 6:00am Friday.

Joint Secretary General of BNP Salahuddin Ahmed made the announcement through a press release on Tuesday afternoon.

However, the ongoing 72-hour nationwide hartal of the alliance was earlier declared to continue till 6am Wednesday.
