DHAKA: Law enforcers allowed bringing dry food at Gulshan office of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Sunday afternoon.

BNP Media Wing Officer Shayrul Kabir confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said that the law enforcers allowed dry foods brought by BNP vice-chairman Selima Rahman to get entered around 4:10pm.

On condition of anonymity, one of the on-duty police personnel said that the staff members of BNP chief’s office are getting not only dry foods but rice, curry, vegetables and so on regularly.

On the other hand, Shayrul claimed that earlier on the day, the law enforcers deployed in front of the office turned back a rickshaw carrying 30 packets of foods.

The rickshaw-puller left the lunch packets on pavement adjacent to Khaleda Zia’s office. Later, these were distributed among the poor people, he added.
