CHITTAGONG: Some 56 students were detained after law enforcers raided Shahjalal Hall and Shah Amanat Hall of University of Chittagong on Sunday.

During the half-an-hour drive started at 4:30pm Sunday, police recovered four iron rods, two sharp weapons, and some stones from several rooms of the dormitories. 

University police outpost in-charge Abul Khayer told banglanews that the 45 people were detained to trace out whether any accused of Taposh killing case takes shelter at the hall.
