DHAKA: A group of miscreants blasted two cocktails consecutively in front of Karnaphuli Garden City market in city’s Shantinagar area Wednesday evening.

The blasts created panic among the pedestrians in the area.

Ramna Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mashiur Rahman told banglanews that the blasts took place in the bordering area between Ramna and Paltan thanas.

We are looking after the matter, he added.

However, Paltan Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Morshed Alam told banglanews that a team of police has been sent to the spot.
