Vandalism, blast at Paltan

DHAKA: Leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami carried out violence from a procession at Paltan in the capital supporting hartal Sunday.

Witnesses said Jamaat men blasted six cocktails and vandalized three vehicles at 10:30am creating panic in the area.

Law enforcers immediately rushed to spot and dispersed them.

Police conducted massive search there and detained two Jamaat men.
