BARGUNA: Miscreants set fire to a bus of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) in front of Sonia Cinema Hall in municipality area of the district early Saturday.
 
Bus helper Abdul Kaiyum told banglanews that the vehicle was parked there and he was sleeping inside it. A group people set the bus (Dhaka Metro Ba 11-2122) on fire around 4:00am and fled the scene.

The helper, however, escaped burn injuries as he managed to get down the bus as soon as possible.

Saiful Islam, superintendent of police of Barguna, confirmed the matter to banglanews.

No detention was reported.
