DHAKA: Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of BNP, will stage demonstrations across the country on Tuesday demanding the safe return of missing party leaders and release of the arrestees.
JCD president Rajib Ahsan and general secretary Akramul Hasan announced the program issuing a press release on Monday.
The JCD leaders alleged that the incumbent government is carrying out state terrorism to uphold the power. Killing, kidnapping and other subversive activities become the main characteristics of the government.
They also turned the country to a jail, they added.
The leaders urged their fellows to be united to save the country and make the demonstration a success, refrain from creating anarchy.
JCD leaders demanded immediate release of BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed, JCD ex-organizing secretary Anisur Rahman Talukdar Khokon and other detained leaders.
