DHAKA: BNP-led 20-party alliance announced protest program across the country on Wednesday together with ongoing blockade.

BNP joint secretary general Barkat Ullah Bulu issued a press release announcing the program on Tuesday.

In the statement, he also urged the alliance leaders and activists to bring out protest processions in all districts, thanas, Pourashabhas and metropolitan areas peacefully.

The BNP senior leader also urged them to celebrate Independence Day on March 26.

The statement said they are continuing the movement demanding return of all BNP leaders including its joint secretary general Salah Uddin Ahmed and end of murder, kidnapping, mass arrest and joint force’s torture.
