DHAKA: Election Commission banned the election campaign of three city corporation elections using microphone after 9:00pm.

The EC also ordered the respective returning officers to take necessary steps against those who will violate the code of conduct.

The directives said the candidates can use microphone for elections campaign from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. They can use a microphone for a ward.

Deputy Secretary of EC Samsul Alam told banglanews that they ordered the returning officers to inform the candidates about the rules and regulation of the election.

The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) will be held On April 28.
