FENI: A group of miscreants shot three people of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) local unit in Panchgachhiya in Feni town on Sunday evening.

The bullet-shot injured were identified as BCL Feni sadar upazila unit leader Riaz Shikdar, and two activists Manjur Ahammad and Shahid.

Witness said that the miscreants shot the trio, who were going to BSCIC area from Panchgachhiya Bazaar by a motorcycle.

Rescuing the injured, locals rushed to Feni Sadar Hospital. Later, they sent them to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.

Feni Sadar Hospital residential officer Dr Asim Kumar Saha told banglanews that the BCL men received bullets at their chest and back.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Feni Model Thana officer-in-charge (investigation) Shahinuzzaman said that they have started search drives to nab the criminals.
