DHAKA: Moazzem Hossain Alal, president of BNP’s youth wing Jubo Dal and Dr Mostafizur Rahman Iran, chairman of Labour Party, one of the allies of 20-party alliance, got bail release on Thursday afternoon.

Moazzem Hossain Alal was released around 12:45pm while Dr Mostafizur Rahman Iran was releases around 1:45pm from the Kashimpur Central Jail.

BNP media wing member Shamsuddin Didar and leaders and activists of Labour Party confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On March 24, a Vacation Bench of the High Court comprising Justice Quamrul Islam Siddique and Justice M Amir Hossain granted the bail to Alal in two cases filed over attacking Chhobi Biswas MP and barring police from discharging government duties.

On the other hand, on March 29, the HC granted bail to Dr Iran in a case over arson attack on vehicles in front of House Building Corporation at Purana Paltan in city.

However, police arrested Alal from his Lalmatia residence in city in the night of December 27 of 2014 and Iran from in front of his party office at Paltan in city on January 15.
