DHAKA: BNP Tuesday filed a case with Tejgaon Thana against 100 unnamed persons over attack on motorcade of Khaleda Zia during city polls campaign.

Officer-in-Charge ABM Moshiur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier in the day, BNP files a written allegation blaming ruling Awami League activists for the attack. But police did not file it then.

On April 20, motorcade of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia came under attack during campaign for Dhaka City Corporations polls at Karwanbazar in the capital. Three people were injured and five vehicles were vandalized during attack.
