DHAKA: Authorities of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) suspended the president and general secretary of university unit Bangladesh Chattra League (BCL) permanently and two other students temporarily.

They were suspended on the grounds of assaulting teachers and showing undisciplined behavior.

Details of the temporarily suspended could not be known immediately.

BUET vice-chancellor professor Khaleda Ekram confirmed the matter to banglanews on Tuesday.
