CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit the district on Saturday with the view to inaugurating 10 developmental projects, including some completed ones, worth Tk 600 crore.

Later, she will address a rally at Chapainawabganj Government College ground in the afternoon.

The premier’s visit agenda include-- inauguration of 547-meter long Second Mahananda Bridge in Sadar upazila, youth training center, BINA sub-center, newly constructed building of Chapainawabganj eye hospital, academic building of Birshresta Captain Mahiuddin Jahangir College and Gomastapur fire service station.

Besides, she will lay foundation stone of Alatuli dam construction project to save people from erosion of Padma River, Kansat-Rohanpur-Bholahat road development project, promoting Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital to 250-bed hospital and 100MW power plant at Amnura.

District Awami League general secretary Abdul Wadud MP told banglanews that they have taken all kinds of preparations to make the rally successful.
