‘Modi will come to Bangladesh on June 6. We welcome him,’ he added.

The BNP leader made the assertion while speaking at a discussion marking historic Farakka Long-march Day (May 16), organized by Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal at National Press Club in city at noon.

He commented that the Modi government has realized the importance of better relations with Bangladesh. That’s why they had solved the longstanding land border dispute.

‘They (Indian government) had extended the hands of friendship. We hope that he (Modi) will solve the other existing problems during his upcoming visit,’ he added.
