DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia hosted an iftar program in honor of foreign diplomats in city on Tuesday.

The program was held at The Westin hotel in the evening.

BNP standing committee members Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Lieutenant General (retd) Mahbubur Rahman and Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar and BNP chairperson’s advisers Mir Nasiruddin Ahmed, Khandker Mahbub Hossain and Riaz Rahman, journalist Gias Kamal Chowdhury, former chief justice Mohammad Abdur Rouf and Bangladesh Bank former governor Salehuddin Ahmed, among others, were present at the program.

Earlier on Monday, Khaleda Zia hosted an iftar party in honor of writers, journalists and other professionals at Bashundhara Convention City.

The BNP chief also arranged an iftar party for political leaders at the same venue on Sunday.
