DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Tariqul Islam has been admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in city due to old-age related diseases.

BNP press wing officer Shairul Kabir Khan, on Saturday noon, told banglanews that the veteran BNP leader was admitted at the hospital this morning.

Tariqul is now under supervision of Chief Executive of the hospital Dr MA Rashid, said the press wing officer.

Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital sources said he is being diagnosed for different diseases related to old-age complications.

He will be treated following the diagnosis reports.
