CHITTAGONG: Police arrested 83 including a Jamaat-e-Islami activist conducting a special drives in different areas in Chittagong district on Monday overnight.

Police also seized 53 liters of locally made liquor during the drive.

Chittagong additional police super (special branch) Mohammad Naimul Hasan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said that the arrestees are warranted accused of different cases.
