Satkhira Jamaat leader arrested

SATKHIRA: Police arrested former Union Parishad chairman and also union unit Jamaat-e-Islami amir Mosharaf Hossain from sadar upazila of Satkhira district.

He was arrested from Chaygharia Madrassa at 11:30am on Sunday.

Satkhira Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Emdad Sheikh confirmed the matter.

‘Mosharaf Hossain, a resident of Sanka village and an assistant superintendent of Saygharia Madrassa, was arrested in violence case,’ the OC said.
