DHAKA: A city court will declare its decision on November 2 whether the two chargesheets against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and 37 others to be accepted in two cases resulting from arson attack on Jatrabari passenger bus.
Earlier on May 5, case investigation officer and also Detective Branch (DB) police sub-inspector (SI) Bashir Ahmed submitted two separate chargesheets in the murder case and case under explosive acts to Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court.
Moreover, another DB police sub-inspector (SI) Zahidul Islam submitted another chargesheet under special power act on May 19.
The chargesheets were presented for acceptance to the CMM court on Monday.
Metropolitan magistrate Shahriar Mahmud Adnan fixed the date November 2 for pronouncing his order after scrutinizing the documents.
As many as 81 people were made witnesses in the cases with Khaleda Zia as prime accused.
