20-party’s nationwide protest now on Sunday

DHAKA: BNP-led 20-party deferred the processions and rallies across the country from Saturday to Sunday (September 6) in protest of the gas and power price hike.

BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan declared the programme through a press release on Wednesday night.

The release said the date was changed as the Janmashtami of Hindu community will be observed on September 5.
