DHAKA: BNP demanded the government to form a body for judicial investigation of all ‘force-hidings and killings’ in the country.
Party spokesperson Dr Asaduzzaman Ripon made the demand at a press conference held at BNP central office in city’s Nayapaltan area around 12:30pm Monday.
According to Ripon, the country is currently passing a ‘dark age’.
He said that alliance partners have started criticizing the government. Recently, PM’s special envoy and also Jatiya Party (JP) chairman HM Ershad commented that there is no voting rights in the country.
The BNP leader alleged that law and order situation in the country is deteriorating. Incidents of ‘force hiding and murders’ are gradually increasing.
We demand immediate judicial investigation of all ‘force hiding and murders’, Ripon added.
