313 detained in Chittagong

CHITTAGONG: Police detained 313 accused including two Jamaat activists from different upazilas on Monday night.

Additional Police Super Naimul Hasan confirmed the matter to banglanews on Tuesday.

Some 2730 pieces of Yaba tablets were also recovered from Banshkhali and Lohagora during the night-long drives, he added.

Among the detainees, 292 are warranted accused in several cases.
