7 Jamaat men among 60 arrested in Jessore

JESSORE: Police arrested 60 people including seven leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami conducting drives in different upazilas of Jessore district in early Tuesday.

Jessore district police control room on-duty official Sabbir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The Jamaat men were detained in accusation of creating violence, he said adding, the others were accused in several cases.
