DHAKA: Ruling Awami League (AL) will distribute nomination forms for Tangail-4 by-polls among interested candidates on Oct 1 and 2. 

The form will be available at AL political office at Dhanmondi and the submission deadline October 3 at same place. The candidates will have to face an interview while submission. The price for each form is TK 25,000.

On Thursday in a meeting of AL parliamentary board the decision was taken. Earlier in the evening at Ganabhaban a high profile meeting held among the president of AL and parliamentary board.

Voting of the by-polls will be held on Nov 10.

Earlier on September 1, the former elected member of the constitution Latif Siddique declared his resignation. Later Tangail-4 was declared as vacant.
