DHAKA: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is set to return home from Singapore after treatment on Monday night.

He is likely to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in a Singapore Airlines flight around 10:30am.

BNP chairperson’s press wing officer Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On July 26, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir left Dhaka for Singapore for better treatment, days after released on bail.

He took treatment at National University Hospital in Singapore. Then he went to US to take further treatment at a New York hospital.

After a 40-day stay there, the BNP secretary general returned to Singapore on September 20.
