BHOLA: A group of miscreants beat Char Fashion upazila unit Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) president Abdur Razzak to death in Bhola district early Saturday.

The deceased’s brother Alamin told banglanews that Razzak along with his friends was gossiping on an embankment in Hazariganj union area after dinner.

A group of miscreants suddenly attacked on him and beat him mercilessly, he added.

According to him, the victim was rushed to Upazila Health Complex and later shifted to Bhola Sadar Hospital as his condition derogated.

The on-duly doctor declared him dead around 5:00am.

Char Fashion officer-in-charge (OC) Enamul Haque said that they are investigating the matter.
