PABNA: Police have arrested secretary of Pabna town unit Islami Chhatra Shibir, student front of Jamaat-e-Islami, from his village home of Pabna Sadar Thana Saturday midnight.

The arrestee was identified as Badiuzzaman, 23, son of late Yasin Ali Master  of Manoharpur village of Pabna Sadar.

Pabna Sadar Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Abdullah Al Hasan told banglanews that he was arrested in different cases on charges of cutting roadside trees, torching and vandalizing vehicles and sabotages.

He will be produced before court on Sunday, the OC added.
