CHITTAGONG: police, from several upazilas of the district, arrested 120 people, including seven leaders and activists of local units of Jamaat-e-Islami, early Tuesday.

Of the arrested, 28 are accused in general cases and the court issued warrant against 85.

Additional superintendent of police Naimul Hasan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He further said police seized two shard-edged weapons, two knives and 98-litre liqueur from their possession.
