DHAKA: A joint meeting of central leaders of the ruling Awami League (AL) and leaders of its Dhaka city unit and top leaders of its associate bodies has been convened at the party chief’s political office on Saturday.

The meeting will begin at the office of Awami League president and also Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in city’s Dhanmondi area around 11:00am on the day, party sources told banglanews on Thursday.

Presidium members of AL Central Executive Council, members of Central Executive Council, presidents and general secretaries of Dhaka city unit Awami League (AL) and AL associate bodies have been asked to attend the meeting.

AL joint general secretary Mahbub-Ul-Alam Hanif requested all concerned to attend the meeting.
