DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia convened a meeting of top leaders of her party, including its Standing Committee members, on Wednesday night.

The meeting is set to begin at party chairperson’s political office at Gulshan in the city around 8:30pm, said BNP standing committee member Lt General (retd) Mahbubur Rahman Khan.

He said party chairperson also asked top leaders who are staying in Dkaka to attend the meeting.

It will be her first meeting of party’s top leaders after return to home from London after two and half months.

On September 15, Khaleda Zia went to London for treatment and returned home on November 21 after treatment of eyes and knee.
