SATKHIRA: Joint Forces have arrested 15 activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir from eight thanas of the district for their alleged involvement in sabotages.

The drives conducted between Friday night and Saturday dawn.

Of the arrestees, 13 are activist of Jamaat while two of Shibir. Rests are accused in regular cases, said Satkhira district Special branch SI Enamul Haque.

He also said that 18 people were arrested from Sadar Thana, while three each from Kolaroa and Shaymnagar, two from Tala, 10 from Kaliganj, nine from Ashashuni, seven from Debhata, and four from Patkelghata.
